The William E. Rattley
Road Ahead Center:
Hundreds of persons are provided food and clothing each month through this facility which has been operated by Carver for over 20 years.
Approximately 20 area churches join Carver in
the operation of Hunger and Clothing Programs.

PORT
Winter Homeless Shelter Program:
Since 1995, Carver has participated in this program by providing shelter and food for at least one week during the winter season. |

Help Him Now:
For approximately 18 years, Carver has operated a mentoring program for
young black males. Elements of this program have included tutoring, gardening, fishing, Camp Self Esteem, and help with social skills.
Two graduates of Help Him Now are currently in college. |

Scouts & Boy Scouts:
Neighborhood and Carver youth participate in this reactivated program led by Carver men and women.

Her Now:
Because of the success of Help Him Now, several Carver and neighborhood mothers have organized a similar program for young black girls.
